Contribution to World Music: Daniel Lanois has worked with a variety of different artists
from different cultures and musical genres, from the rock/pop of U2, the folk of Bob Dylan to the
New Orleans groove of The Neville Brothers. His unique production style adds
a haunting atmosphere to the albums on which he is a part. As a solo artist drawing upon his French Canadian heritage,
his poetic lyrics and versatile guitar abilities have won him a cult following.
