Enriched Networks For Québécois Artists

1. VITRINE DU DISQUE QUÉBÉCOIS (DISQUÉBEC):
Congenial and pretty. This website comes out of passion for all music made in Quebec, classical and popular as well. Still in construction, it contains state-of-the-art bios, discography and other information neatly indexed («singers-composers-orchestras-chansonniers-etc».) and available by permission of the artists. The creative team (from Quebec City) are also planning a cultural calendar. FRENCH ONLY.

2. CONSEIL RÉGIONAL DE LA CULTURE COEUR-DU-QUÉBEC:
This website contains information and links on visual artists, musicians, dancers, writers, singers, songwriters and cultural events from the region called «Coeur-du-Québec», which encompasses cities like Drummondville, Victoriaville and Trois-Rivières, forming a very rich artistic community. A reminder: Victoriaville hosts the «Festival international de Musique actuelle» (avant-garde music in all styles) and Trois-Rivières hosts the «Festival international de l'Art vocal» (all kinds of vocal music and song) and the «Festival international de la poésie» (poetry and spoken word). Don't miss the wonderful portrait of young singer-songwriter ISABELLE LEHOUX, a rising star. FRENCH ONLY.

3. RIDEAU/CARREFOUR DES PROFESSIONNELS DES ARTS DE LA SCÈNE:
Before L'ADISQ, this was the first complete québécois networking site for all kinds of artists and production companies in theater, music, song and dance and then some. Always on the move, always updating itself. Have you heard of performance artist Nathalie Derome? Do you want to learn about the acadian folk band Acadilac or the «grindcore» band called BARF? You'll find them here. FRENCH ONLY.

Happy surfing!!!
