laud (laudista), a twelve-string lute. Besides being a professional musician since the age of fourteen, Torres is also a music teacher.
Manuel Licea "Punitillita": A vocalist specializing in the son and bolero styles,
Punitillita has been singing since the age of seven and was especially popular in uba in the 1950's
when he samg with some of Havan's biggest bands.
Pio Leyva: A deep-voiced vocalist, composer and bongo-player who is known throughout the island.
