The name "Oldfield" is very well known to music lovers, bringing to mind Mike (Tubular Bella) and Terry (a renowned composer).

But younger sister Sally is a singing and songwriting talent unto herself. Her latest album, Flaming Star, highlights her unique vocal style, her own compositions, and her use of World sounds and influences. Several of the songs on the album are already huge hits in places like Spain, and the entire album is filled with spiritual overtones.

I spoke to Sally Oldfield about her music, songwriting, and career.
